i got a geforce 4 ti for christmas and since installing it, maya no longer works. i have tested it by reinstalling maya, as well as using other video cards... and i've confirmed that it is the Ti causing maya to crash...

basically, maya starts up, and then crashes hard when the window comes up. i can't force quit or even move the mouse... i have to restart/shut down manually...

given that the Ti was the card A/W used at mwny 2001 to demo maya, it's a bit odd that it's causing problems for me.... just curious if anyone has heard of anything similar? and hopefully a possible solution?

i've looked for updates and only found the firmware update for all other nvidia mac cards involving the cinema HD display.... and of course nvidia's page is no help.

the card was purchased through OWC (other world computing)... so i'll call them tomorrow. but figured i'd check with you all in the meantime. thanks in advance
