Heya folks,

I got myself an Imac 2.8ghz 24 inch ,4 gigs or Ram and a Geforce 8800GS.
The system is from arround may / june last year and so far i never experienced any problems, atleast not with MacOs. I also got windows vista 32 bit installed because i simply need it for some programs i use that wont work under the mac operating system.

Yesterday i was playing a game called World of Warcraft. I was waiting a bit ingame for a mate to log on. In the meantime i opened up another program to play some music. A few minutes later my whole screen turned into a pixel fiesta. I already sometimes had the problem that my screen froze for 30 seconds and then i got the message that there was a problem with my drivers. Ofc. i downloaded the latest and installed them several times.
Anyway, my whole mac ( using vista ) was stuck. I rebooted the damn thing 5/6 times and everytime my screen was full of pixels and dancing lines ( green, blue, red ) full with pixels. I waited a couple of hours to try again. The screen looked normal, but after a while pixels start popping ( when surfing the net ) and when i log on to a game i crash again after 5 min with a screen full of pixels.

Ofc i also tried it in MacOs. So far while surfing, using an application i didnt had any problems ( yet ). I dont play games on my OS so i installed world of warcraft to try it there. Strangely enough i coudnt switch any settings in game ( 640x480 :S ) and even on the lowest settings it didnt run smooth.
My guess is my graphic card died on me or could it be a virus? no idea.
Didnt get much help from apple support on this issue so i have no idea what to do. I think it would completely suck if a videocard dies after like 8 months. I payed nearly € 2.000,- for it!

Any of you guys can relate to this problem or know what it might be.

Thanks in advance.
