geforce 9800 gtx

Hello every one, i've just buy a couple of mac pro's some month ago, also i bought a geforce 9800 gtx for each mac, (in the apple store), well i got the following problem:

the mac come with an ati video card, so, if i disconnect it, and plug the ge force i can not get video, this issue is happenig in both pro's .

Some one can give a hand with this?

or if it's posted yet i'm terribly sorry!

That card doesn't work in OS X. Simple as that. You wasted a good hunk of change unless you only use them for Windows.

You also wouldn't have bought those cards in the Apple Store, as Apple doesn't carry cards it doesn't support.

You're probably thinking of the 8800GT? Have you connected the extra six pin?

IIRC only one 9800 will work in a Mac....
