Hey,
I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.4 (x64) as a virtual machine on my HP notebook (pavilion dv5 1138TX) using vmware 7.1.1.

Intel Core 2 Duo,
4Gig RAM
GeForce 9600M GT

Should I be installing
HTML:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/freebsd-x64-256.53-driver.html
this graphics card driver on my virtual mac for better visual performance?

If so, how do I "install the driver by running, as root, tar xzf NVIDIA-FreeBSD-x86-256.53.tar.gz && cd NVIDIA-FreeBSD-x86-256.53 && make install"?

A stepwise answer would be appreciated as I'm very new to using macs

thanks in advance
