Hello all,

I'm hearing some things around the net that the GeForce FX 5200 will not work with Leopard. Is that true? I've heard that its because some of these cards are not core image and quartz extreme supported and that is why. If under system profiler on my mac it says my card does support both core image and quartz exteme does that mean mine will work on Leopard? Or does it simply mean that for tiger? Who knows about this issue?

Are you running Leopard (10.5.x) or Tiger (10.4.x)?
You should be able to run the FX5200 with Leopard. I'm running a ATI RAGE128PRO card with my Leopard install, and it's older than yours.

Only 16meg of memory on it so any thing requiring more memory won't work

(Front Page is one of them)

If the install DVD boots up and every thing is there under it you should have it when you have Leopard installed. Good luck!:apple:
