Hello,
I have a iMac late 2012 27" i7 with the GeForce GTX 680MX. I was trying to use my Dell Ultrasharp U2412M as a second display with a Display Port to mini Display Port cable. If I connect it, the iMac starts flickering and the Dell stays black. I tried both Thunderbolt ports but both ports gave the same result.
I know the cable and the display are both working because I use the same cable and display daily on my HP Zbook 17 witch also have a Thunderbolt port.
Then I started the iMac up in windows and there its the other way around. The display of the iMac was working alright and the Dell was flickering, but in windows I did get some picture.
Is my Geforce broken or is it the Thunderbolt ports?
Does anyone else have this problem?
I am on Yosemite now but it also did not work on Mavericks.
