I think this is browser based? You can probably use it on even older platforms and OS's too, with e.g. Chromium Legacy.

When I went to NVidia it looked like an app. Maybe one of those wrapped up website apps that never run right?

I just saw it and felt it might be a solution.
 
1 hour free session length? Yikes... Even I still play 3 hours of TFC some days, busy as I am. Maybe I'll give it a try though and if it works well maybe, maybe a subscription.

It does say that it works in anything that can run Google Chrome according to that article so I see no reason it shouldn't work via Chromium Legacy.
 
A great alternative to Geforce Now is https://shadow.tech/en-gb/

I used it for over a year from my old MBA and worked amazing. Costly though, but worth it.

Is it just UK only, as it's priced in GBP?

EDITED because GeForce Now is a 6-month plan vs this one's monthly. Need to read the finer print next time, LOL
 
Not sure, maybe just a UK company but they are showing multiple DC options.

Plus, I'm still wondering about performance on a 2009 MacBook (or any of the early Intels from around that time). For both services, I mean, as I am just pondering and not deciding just yet.
