Hi,
I purchased a GeForce 4 MX for my PowerMac G4 (Digital Audio), it arrived today, but it doesn't work. dmesg states that NVDANV10HAL and NVDANV40HAL gets loaded and "NVKernel: Using AGP", but no real driver gets loaded.
I installed a 10.2 kexts, but it didn't helped.
System Profiler just shows the following (I'm working via VNC):

This is a genuine Apple card, pulled from an used Mac. It has an ADC-Connector.

I couldn't find anything via Google or at the Apple Support pages, I just figured out that these cards generally are strange on Mac OS X.

I added the device-ids to NVDANV20Hal.kext, but that didn't work either.

Any ideas?

I just received another PowerMac G4, with the Sonnet CPU I wanted (1.33GHz w/ 2MB L2), it came with a Radeon, which doesn't work either:

The ATI Rage 128 which originally came with the PowerMac still works without a flaw - but without Quartz Extreme either. As long as I use the machine as a server, I don't need graphics, actually I removed them completely. But I need this machine as spare when my Mini stops working or similar, and I want decent graphics then.
