Gen. 1 Users who upgraded...was it worth it?

I have no 3G where I live and already have a first gen. iPhone, for those who upgraded...is it worth it if I don't have 3G in my area?

The only reason to upgrade to the 3G is to get 3G. If you don't have it, then clearly paying another $200 and an extra $10 per month FOR 3G isn't worth it.

I haven't upgraded yet myself, but I'd say it's not worth paying $10 a month extra ($15 a month if you need txt) if you can't take advantage of 3G.
The (almost) only real advantage is the AGPS, you will have to ask yourself if $10/$15 a month extra is worth it or not...

I live in a 3G covered area, and still debating if it's worth the extra $$$ monthly...
