Hi. Long-time lurker, first time poster. Apologies for the newbie aspect of this post. :)

My setup is as follows:
-27" iMac purchased at the end of 2012, running OS X 10.9.4
-8 GB Ram, 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5

I've had what I can only describe as some "inconveniences." It could be the OS or it could be a RAM issue, I have no idea.

-The double-click problem: I have a corded Logitech mouse - the B100 - and single-clicks act like double-clicks. From a cursory search, I see I'm not the only one.

-If I save an image from the Internet to the desktop, or I drag an icon to the trash, it takes an inordinate amount of time. Same with clicking on a file name to re-name it.

-I'm using the latest version of Firefox and it's been crashing frequently. It could be a plug-in issue, but this only just started happening. (I'm currently in safe mode to test the plug-in theory.)

-Lastly, after upgrading to Adobe Creative Cloud, I could probably use a RAM upgrade. I have not researched this issue and it's performing better now than when I first installed it. I'm a graphic design student so maybe I'm simply not used to the time involved in saving such large files. :)
