On a 1.5GHz 2GB RAM 17" PowerBook (model: ... uh no idea, the one before the scrolling trackpad ones) the OS just runs a little sticky and hangs programs with no apparent cause. It's kernel panicked once or twice and I've run fsck and Permission Repair and Disk Repair etc. but are there any ways to just speed it up a little? I have 36 GB free on the 80GB HD.
