general sync question

I have an iPhone 3GS that I jailbroke 3 months ago, haven't hooked it up to iTunes since because I didn't know if syncing would wreck it since its jailbroken now but I want to download some new Albums and put them on.

So, will connecting my jailbroke iPhone 3GS to my itunes and letting it sync do anything to harm my iphone/erase the jailbreak?

no syncing your iphone will not cause any damage.

Syncing your phone is fine, but new firmware versions have come out in the last 3 months so when you plug it in iTunes will ask, Do you want to upgrade?

CANCEL CANCEL CANCEL that prompt (and check don't ask again)!

(Unless you're ready to JB again, which isn't hard since the current firmware is JB'able...)
