I dont know ANYTHING about terminal...is there a place where i could learn the basics of how it works...I would at least like to know a little about how it works...I am old enough to remember/have used DOS...is it kinda the same? Thanks for any help...:)

you can google anything about *nix shells, but yeah since OS X is built off of unix/BSD its all the same commands, "ls" to list the directory, "cd" to change directory, "rm" to remove files and so on...it can be very powerful

i was looking for a MR guide...i couldnt find one...anyway...maybe some tips on what *normal* people use it for...anyhelp would be great

Here's some pdf's that should get you started... :)
