Here's my current fleet:
M1 Max MBP 32C/64GB/4TB [Oct 2021]
iPhone 11 Pro 512GB [Dec 2019]
AW5 44 mm [Sept 2019]
I am differently abled (cerebral palsy and limited fine motor dexterity on my left side) so accessibility and ergonomics are key to me, and I use voice recognition almost all the time.
Here are my thoughts:
MBP: it is topline excepting 4TB over 8TB SSD, I am good for a few years on that
iPhone: This AppleCare expired Dec 2021 but I tend to take good care of my devices. I tried out the form factors in person when I updated from 7 to 11, as the 7 was 4.7" but the 11 Pro is 5.8" which is big for one-handed use. [Reachability: thank goodness?] As I am a serious photo hobbyist and may be working professionally before too long, iPhone 14 Pro would be my one of choice due to its better camera over the non-Pro lines; as I understand it, 48MP vs 12MP sensors. Plus at 6.1" as opposed to 6.7" which seems gargantuan... for historical context, my 5 (4") lasted almost 3 years 2015-17 and the 7 (4.7") lasted a bit more than 2 before it got slow...
AW: S6/7/8 improvements seem marginal at best and a lot of the new health sensors require a snug fit and/or I'm not the target market for. The 44mm AW5 seems big on me so I'd want to try the Ultra in person before buying. I'm not yet sold on the regular S8 and the Apple Watch SE2 which is just a slimmed-down 8 seems like a regression over what I've got now.

On the subject of earbuds: don't have any. But I've found call transfers from the iPhone to my HomePod mini don't always Handoff (heh!) very well and I'd like something for when I'm out and about and need to take calls that way rather than holding the phone to ear with my only good hand (so I'm de facto immobile) or using speakerphone (not always going to have a table to set down on, and in loud environments, good luck.) But I haven't had decent success with earbuds staying in my ear...so any advice there?
So what, if any, would you consider upgrading?
