Generating Course Timetable?

I'm wondering if it's possible to generate a course timetable based on data pulled from excel. I'm looking for something similar to your standard course timetable for college students, but it will have considerably more courses (e.g., 15 courses compared to the standard 5). Is this possible? I can manually create a timetable using excel, but there's two issues:
1. It takes forever
2. I cannot visually display overlapping courses

Any suggestions?
