Hey, what were those companys that made those generic logic board from cubes, imacs or ibooks...
 
Apple is outsourcing the manufacturing of Logic boards and machine components.

I don't recall anyone making "generic" boards for any of these machines.

Though there are some companies making G3/G4 logic boards that fit into PC enclosures.

Now CPU ugrade manufacturers are another story, there are some companies making upgrades for machines that have a CPU daughtercard.

Now that would be an upgrade manufacturer, and not someone making logic boards to be used as OEM in Apple machines (with and Apple logo stamped on it).

These third parties manufacturers make the daughtercard upgrades.
