Hey Folks
I need to copy some large files into other hard disk and osx is not letting it copy. saying the file is too large. how to solve this

I am copying from Mac formatted harddisk to Windows formatted hard disk.
the reason i am copying is, my bluray player will only recognize windows formatted hard disk.

what you guys suggest

Compression and split the files into multiple compressed files (such as winrar, 7zip, etc) and then move the files to the windows installation and rejoin and uncompress them. I bet you are formatted as FAT on the windows machine which has a small file size limitation. You'll need to get the file size under the windows limitation and there is nothing else you can do that I can suggest.
