So I'm not really pissed, but..

I had my 4S replaced due to not hearing the other line during phone calls, it would happen sporadically. After plugging my 4S into diagnostics, the Genius just offered to swap the phone out, since I'm under warranty.

The genius went and retrieved my black box replacement. After me signing and agreeing to the terms and conditions, he placed my new phone down on the table. I quickly put my new 4S into the case. Genius left for a second and came back. He grabbed my new phone, took it out of the case (I was thinking ), pulled out a microfiber cloth and placed my new 4S down on the table, and started wiping off fingerprints on the screen. While doing this, the phone was basically rubbing side to side on the table as he rubbed the screen clean. I didn't react harshly, but I realized that he was going to try and switch my screen protector from my old phone to my new one, and I quickly said "Don't worry about the screen protector, I have plenty at home, and they were 2$ on eBay. The genius stopped, and handed me my phone back. I thanked him and was on my way...

When I got home I went to put the screen protectors on, and while putting the back one on, realized that the white plastic border/edge between the glass and stainless steel band (I have a white 4S) had black scuffs on it. I was able to basically rub those off with some cleaning solution, but then realized the freaking camera lens is scratched! Not deep scratches that affect the picture quality, but at least 3 or 4 scratches going in different directions across the lens.

And I know this is all because of the manner in which he placed my phone down on the table and with force and rubbed the back of the phone on the tables surface.

Like I said, I would never return it, and I was respectful toward the genius, but I'm sorry, wouldn't common sense tell you to hold the phone in your hand while cleaning the screen and not placing it down on a table completely unprotected and proceeding to basically scuff/rub the phone against the table for a good 5 seconds right in front of the customer?

On a positive note: my new 4S has a very blue screen as opposed to my original 4S which looked very yellow. :D

I'm sure I'll get a few "Cool story, bro" responses:p, but I just wanted to share. I've always had good customer service at Apple and this incident didn't tarnish that, but when this happened...well we all know that feeling of your heart sinking as your brand new phone is mishandled by someone else
