While looking for a case that protects my iPhone X well against drops and everyday use, I am also interested in the case that looks good and doesn't look like a brick or something I'm taking into combat since those aren't the conditions I work in daily. I don't care for the official Apple cases. Here are a few that I am looking to purchase while waiting for my iPX to arrive. Anyone currently using any of these? Anyone have any additional "fashionable" suggestions?

Grovemade's Walnut iPhone X Case - Love the looks of this case, but I don't think it would provide any protection against drops at all.

That Moshi jet silver looks interesting - any reviews of it? Would like to have better pictures on their website

The term Metrosexual is over. Fashion and Grooming for men is currently at its peak. Integrating style into your look whether it be with a phone case, or a Prada shirt is the new norm. We're not in 2004 anymore! Just get what you like. Who cares what anyone else thinks!

Thanks for taking the time to educate me. You should be writing for GQ since you are so knowledgeable about current trends in men’s fashion and grooming. Forgive me for asking for suggestions on a phone case. I thought that was the purpose of this forum. It appears to me that is what the majority of posts here are about - getting input from others. I certainly was not asking for approval from you or anyone here about the cases I posted. I simply wanted to know if anyone had any first hand knowledge about how they held up in actually protecting the phone without sacrificing on style. I apologize if my wording was “sooo 2004”.

I like the walnut case. You'd be surprised how much protection it provides.

Metrosexual...LOL...is that still a phrase?

Thanks for the info. I may have to put that one on my Christmas list.

Geeze, you younglings are getting all bent out of shape over metrosexual. I removed it, so simmer down. LOL. I actually couldn't even remember the term and had to Google it before using it because it has been so long since I heard it. I was having a brain block and couldn't think of another term to get my point across. Had I known it was such a point of contention, I would never have used it.

"Preppy"? Oh and who you calling younglings? Is 45 a youngling?, that would be great if it is!

All of those posted are horrible looking except the clear one. I would still never buy the clear one. Go no case. If you really need one then stick to apple leather.

The problem with clear ones is that unless you buy a good one, they tend to turn yellow (**I haven't gotten one in the past few phone cycles, so they might be better now**)

Currently using a tech 21 Evo Tactical case and I’m liking that a lot. Wouldn’t call it preppy though .

Definitely going to rock a wooden case soon if that’s consifered preppy. I’ve been wanting one when I had my 7 Plus and never bought one for some strange reason

KAVAJ makes some really nice leather cases for iPhones & iPads. I like 'em because they're slim and understated. If that's your style preference, then I'd definitely recommend them.

i have a knock off of the silve/clear - paid 9 bucks from amazon.. the exact same as it seems. IMHO the best case you can get to preserve the look of the phone (chome/silver)

Ignoring your little rant I will say That you mentioned that your not into Apple's cases but I honestly believe that Apple's cases are the most stylish. The red and black combination in particular is my favorite. The ones you posted are very ugly, sorry not sorry. Don't disrespect your X with something cheap, plastic, and ugly. It deserves better than that. Keep in mind that hard plastic WILL scratch, even if the maker claims it won't. Go for leather. It will only become better with age. Stay away from PU leather. It scratches and degrades over time.

Here are some stores with really nice cases.

If your looking for something of extremely high quality there's always Vaja. Be prepared to spend a fortune there.

I have the Neo Hybrid in Gunmetal and I’m very happy with it. Decent level of protection, a raised lip to protect the screen, quite grippy and also looks good.
