since i have iphone i dont trried the geocahing.
how good is geocaching with iphone?
can i achieve the 5 meter error margin?
how is the signal between trees compared to a garmin gps?
can i trade my garmin etrex legend for sure?

thanks!

As an iPhone 3g user and a geocacher I can offer my opinion. The iPhone is great for looking up the cache, getting close to the cache and even logging your find but it is not even close to being a true dedicated GPS. My Garmin gets me there without a hitch but the iPhone just doesnt have enough accuracy.

I use the GeoCaching app to look them up in the field.. you can only log it from Safari.... I am not sure the app was worth 10 bucks... but what the heck it is fun
