I'm looking for a geolocation database free or paid for iOS development. I know Apple Maps uses TomTom for their DB, but I doubt they sell it for a reasonable price, as we are working on an application targeting a small market.
We need a geolocation database that includes pretty much everything from restaurants, shopping centers, grocery stores to gas station etc.

I've done some researching on the web, I thought I'd ask here if anyone knows companies selling this kind of solution to integrate in our application.

Thanks,

After some more reading, Foursquare integration seems the way to go.

Still curious if you guys know other possible solutions.

check out Google's Places API. It is free and very solid. I believe in your queries you can specify categories of places (gyms, grocery stores, restaurants, anything you can think of)

I was looking for Google APIs...I guess I over read this and looked the other way!
I will look into it! Thank you for the heads up! :)
