HomeKit Geolocation works to turn lights on when coming home, but not to turn them off when leaving.

I have a very simple automation set up to turn the lights on when the first person arrives home, and it works great. I had another automation set up to turn the lights off, when the last person leaves. This doesn't seem to work anymore, not sure. Could be a coincidence, but I think the problem started when iOS 12 came out. I have already deleted the automation (twice), and recreated it, but no dice. Any advice?

I could never get that to work....turning off when lay person left.
