Looks like a pretty sweet game
IMO using the stylus and directional buttons at the same time seems a little awkward. It should be like the 360 Arcade version, d-pad and the shoulder buttons (or the X-Y-B-A buttons).

Trust me on this; stylus controls are *perfect*. Did you listen to my dialog? A-B-X-Y buttons are an option if you want them. I just like Stylus better. I even play with the ABXY buttons for a short time during that vid.

Sorry, it's too late to have the speakers on :D

I have been looking for a reason to pick up a DS, and this along with a few other good titles, might persuade me

I might get this, wasn't keen on the 360 version. Felt like nothing more than a gamerscore catalyst. They're going to have to put some more fun gameplay if there's no big global scoreboard.

I thought the game was a retro-flavored blast. :D Loved the gameplay, but also like what they are doing with the Wii version.

It's fun :) Really clever stages.

Is there any compelling reason to get the DS version instead of (or in addition to) the Wii version?

If you've played the Wii version as well, could you compare them?

Hmm, good question...

I have played both. I did enjoy both. And I'm honestly unsure of which platform I want to get it on!

I suspect they will have similar, if not the same, stages. Multiplayer will be a bit different; I don't know many details (I've only played early versions) of all the modes planned, but Wii will be more co-op focused (as everyone shares the same screen) while DS will be more head-to-head.

JackAxe; yes, it is multiplayer, and it is awesome.

GW is the kind of game I'd like to play in bursts, so I'm kind of leaning towards the DS version. The particle effects really look beautiful on the Lite's screen too! But then again, the Wii version looks so pretty...identical to the 360 one.
