The German computer magazine publisher Heise posts this new headline:

Yahoo stellt Entwicklung eigener Smartphone-Anwendung ein - Google translation with mistakeable headline

Yahoo stops developing their own smartphone application

According to the article the company wants to concentrate the resources on the iPhone application. Only in April, Yahoo revised their mobile application "Yahoo Mobile" and introduced it as an application for the iPhone to the public. The variant for smartphones should follow in May and was already announced for interested beta testers.
