German explanatory dictionary

Hi All,

I'm a high school student, trying to learn german. I've found the Merriam-Webster English dictionary on the iPhone to be an amazing little piece of software - maybe not as good as Apple's Mac Dictionary.app, but still pretty nice.

Now, I've been searching all over the place for a good, preferably free, equivalent to the Merriam-Webster app, or, even better, the Mac Dictionary. I've found two sorta-good options: one being the Duden dictionary and the other the German BigDict app.

These look okay, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a comparable, maybe cheaper, app. Any ideas?

I first time listen about German directory that is why i am using directory.com i will use German directory i sure that is it better then other.
