German tmobile iPad 3rd generation sim locked?

Hi everyone!

Right now I'm moving back to Italy. I lived 3 month in Berlin and when I arrived I bought an iPad 3 with TMobile. I would like to know if the iPad is simlocked or not. Some people say yes but other people say that there isn't the sim lock on the iPad. I would like to know this because if I wont able to use it in Italy I prefer to resell it before the leaving.

99.9% sure there's no simlocks on iPads.

At least, I've never heard of a case of one.
