Gestures and Inertial Scrolling, should they work on Mac with keyboard paired to AVP?

Am trying out a headless Mac Studio connected to an AVP. I have a Magic Keyboard and Trackpad that are connected to the AVP. When I open the Mac in Virtual Display, everything generally works - meaning I can type and use the mouse cursor. But... Inertial Scrolling and Gestures do not work. Is that expected? Should they work, but I've missed something during setup?

Inertial Scrolling works. Some gestures don't seem to work.
