We're tracking record low prices across the entire M3 iPad Air lineup today, with discounts available at both Amazon and Best Buy. These massive $150 discounts beat the previous all-time lows tracked during Prime Day by about $30.

Prices start at $449.00 for the 128GB Wi-Fi 11-inch M3 iPad Air, down from $599.00. Across the board these are all $150 discounts on the M3 iPad Air, and each one is a new best-ever price for the tablet.

We noticed that the 1TB Wi-Fi 11-inch iPad Air has a coupon to clip this time around, making the tablet drop to $664.30 before tax, down from $1,099.00. This is a massive discount on the M3 iPad Air, even coming in under the current deal price of the 512GB Wi-Fi model. We aren't sure if this has been done in error or not, so if you're interested be sure to check it out before the coupon disappears.

You'll also find many cellular models on sale at $150 off right now. The 128GB cellular 11-inch iPad Air is available for $599.00 and the 128GB cellular 13-inch iPad Air is available for $799.00, both representing new record low prices.

Sorry, now that I have an M4 I can't go back.

I work in live audio, we control our mixers using ipads these days. The heat-management improvements with the M4 mean I haven't had a thermal shutdown mid-show all summer, that was happening all the time with the M1 it replaced.

I prefer the Pro, the Mini, or the baseline iPad over the Air. Each has a clear purpose: Best, Cheapest, and Smallest.

In the most recent earnings calls, Apple calls out the Air as being the one that drives sales. The Air is the best one for most people - cheaper than the Pro, yet offering most of the functionality. All of the iPads are good, but the Air is the workhorse for the line.

You are using the iPad for professional work - iPad Pro is definitely for you!

If I were being deliberately obtuse, I could interpret the headline as meaning you have to buy all the models to get $150, not $150 off any one M3 iPad Air model.

I want an M4 for the low power usage (and exceptional single core performance doesn’t hurt), and FaceID because the TouchID on my current 2017 10.5” iPad Pro (purchased in 2020) isn’t super reliable. I know an M4 will eventually show up, but FaceID seems reserved for iPad Pros… and I’m not ready to drop $800 on an iPad again. Give me FaceID on a ~$500 device in 2026 (or early 2027) and I’ll consider it. Maybe I’ll just end up with another NOS iPad Pro again…
