Get an iPhone without Unlimited Talk and Text on Verizon?

Is there some way to get an individual plan with an iPhone on say Verizon... and NOT get the unlimited voice and no unlimited text? My friend pays 70 bucks a month with an iPhone on his Verizon plan, but when I configure a 4S on the Verizon website, all I see is $100 bucks a month for an individual plan with 4G...

I am trying to find the cheapest individual plan.
