Get app data on to new phone?

So I had Peggle on my 3G and put it on my 3GS - unfortunately I lost all the data since its all fresh. I have a backup from my 3G and my phone is jailbroken. Is there any way to get the app data/progress back into the phone?

If you restore from your old back up, it will have all your app data in it.
