That is a wicked deal for the amount of tech packed into that thing. I was being sold on retro Casio by a friend last week - a new Casio with step tracker that would go with my 1989 Track Suit and Car Phone….. it was $80 plus tax. Not my thing, but I was thinking “gee how cheap can one acquire an Apple Watch??” Here is the answer………

LOL 69.

It seems there is a price drop on everything Apple. iPads, laptops, AirPods. I guess a bunch of new stuff is coming, and the Holidays are over so it's time to move old stuff.

Costco had the old M1 iPad Airs for $350 on Saturday with limited stock.

Oh, didn't know that ... anyway I currently have both a SS WATCH 6 and the first Ultra - both with O2 sensors. Won't buy a new WATCH that will replace those two until the O2 issue is resolved.

Looks like Best Buy is doing the sale too. I just got an open box ("Excellent" condition) for $125 (plus tax). It was the 40mm Silver watch/Denim band combo.

I’m becoming more convinced that the bargain bins may be where I want to shop from now on. A beef of mine that I will point out later in a post about the next big expensive thing is that I’m sick and tired of Apple making me feel like a schmuck. Look at the Apple intelligence ads mocking their customers…….

Why do you want to buy a new watch that Apple have stopped updating?
Am I missing something here?

I have a SE 44 mm along with a 8 45 mm, and the SE haven’t gotten any updates for some time now.

SE has 2020 and 2022 versions. I just googled, both should be compatible with watchOS 10.

This is the second gen SE. It has the same processor as the Series 8 Apple Watch, so should receive updates for a similar length of time.
