Both Amazon and Best Buy have nearly every model of the 10th generation iPad for $70 off this weekend. Prices start at $279.00 for the 64GB Wi-Fi iPad [Amazon/Best Buy], which is a match of the best price we've tracked so far in 2025 and an overall second-best price on the tablet.

Hopefully iPad 11th generation is out soon, and they won't raise pricing. If base pricing is kept the same, then I think it's worth the US$70 for the rumoured extra RAM and faster SoC, and the additional years of iPadOS support. I also have my fingers crossed for more storage, but I'm not expecting that.

I had forgotten the iPad - to be considered when I my mini 6 is not enough. Air feels to fancy for my iPad needs, as I don't use the iPad's a lot, but they are really great to have, strategically placed at home.

The 10th gen iPad is such a confused device. Such a strange set of features and still using the first gen Apple Pencil. I opted for the M1 Air a few years ago and have enjoyed it though I am thinking Touch ID on the iPad power button is not as reliable as the home button and thinking my next iPad needs FaceID.

Good price for the base model. Though a new one is coming, at $279, the base iPad is good enough for basic tasks provided the 64GB storage is enough. Should be getting software updates. Only thing missing will be Apple Intelligence.

I think iPad 11th gen should/ would launch at 449 USDs if it has 128GB storage, and probably 399-429 USDs if it’s gonna have 64GB.

Any lower price and it’s like a smack to the recently purchased iPad 10 owners.

Plus, the 10 is still in active production as of December 2024 so I doubt they’re retiring the model right now, but more to serve as the ultra budget, like how iPad 9 was in 2022-23.
