We're ramping up to big Black Friday deals next week, but you can still find all-time low prices on multiple products right now. Today we've already covered great discounts on M3 MacBook Air, M4 MacBook Pro, and Apple Watch Series 10, and now Amazon has a new record low price on the 10th generation iPad.

The 64GB Wi-Fi iPad has hit $279.99 on Amazon, down from $349.00. This is the best price we've ever tracked on Amazon for the tablet, and it's available in all four colors.

Amazon also has the 256GB Wi-Fi model for the best-ever price of $429.99 ($69 off), and both cellular tablets are on sale as well. The 64GB cellular is down to $449.00 ($50 off) and the 256GB cellular tablet is available for $579.00 ($70 off). Color options for the cellular models are a bit more sparse as of writing.

We're keeping track of all of the season's best Apple-related deals in our Black Friday roundup, so be sure to check back throughout the month for an updated list of all the most notable discounts you'll find for Black Friday 2024.

I just took my base iPad 10 on vacation for 3 weeks and left my MBA at home. It was fine for email, messages, photos, books, and streaming movies for some long flights. If you want a regular old tablet and not a laptop replacement, I think this is a decent deal at $280 or $250 at Costco.

If Apple Intelligence is important to you, then you might want to wait for the iPad 11 or get the Air. I have Apple Intelligence on my iPhone 16 and M2 MBA, so not essential for my iPad.

Also AI capable is the new iPad mini 7 using A17 Pro (8GB RAM) and 128 GB storage. That was $399 low at Amazon not long ago. Costco has it for a $100 off per recent post for $399 also.
10th gen iPad w/64GB is fine for casual, but its the last model with storage that small.

Yeah this is a skip due to its gimped RAM. Apple made it clear anything not packing at least 8GB is going to be left in the dust within a year so you’re better off spending a little more and picking up an M1 iPad Air.

Isn't it $250 at Costco next week?
You can get it for 249 now. Costco has pretty good sale going on now for all Apple devices. Mac mini is 499. You can’t beat 90 day return policy for Costco. AirPod Pros for 199 and include AC+ at Costco.

64GB of storage isn't enough and 256GB is too expensive so I'm waiting for the 11th Gen.
For some it's enough, and for some others with iCloud storage it can be enough too, you could have 1TB of photos and videos in your cloud and browse them all on the 64GB iPad.

In the past, 64GB wasn't enough for me, but with the addition of USB-C and improved support for external storage in iPad OS, I have found that for those times when I need local storage for media, that a USB nano thumbdrive works just fine.

I thought that $300 for the 10th gen was a great price... $280 is amazing, IMO.

Yeah, if you think about $499 for Mac mini on sale plus $249 for an iPad, that would probably meet the needs of most folks home use for $750. I didn't include a keyboard, mouse and monitor because many people have legacy accessories laying around the house.

Since the internals in this are from the iPhone from 2020, almost 5 years ago, it's way past it's prime.
Waiting for the 11 which should have a modern CPU and way more RAM.
