Best Buy had the M3 MacBook Air on sale a couple of months ago for $699.
Nice. I bought one of these last week for my wife who's a light user. The 16gb/256hd was a nice perk for her. The M2 will be great, sure M3 would be nicer if they had. I have 30 days to return incase it comes out.

Yeah, but it’s the summer of 2025 now so three years later. Right now you can get a brand new 2025 M4 from Amazon for $849. That’s $150 more than this one.

I’m not saying this deal isn’t for someone but I would have a hard time paying $699 for this. I don’t see how it’s worth saving $150. If it was for an M3, maybe. This should be $599 tops IMO.

Good deal on the M2 model. However it is also possible to find some very good deals on M3 and even M4 models. Better to research thoroughly before purchasing one.

For people that can shop at AAFES, I recently bought a 13” M4 MBA for $699 ($300 off), and a few weeks earlier a 15” M4 for $250 off.

They often have really nice deals.

When I got the 15”, I signed up for the MilStar credit card and got an extra 10% off.

In retrospect, I wished I would have waited u til the $300 off deal, saving me an additional $50 off.

It is tax-free a well, so if you time it right and sign up for the MilStar, you could easily get $400+ off a base model M4 MBA.
