Just thought of something for those diehard iMessage users who can't switch to Android / Note / Galaxy /etc because they can't let go of iMessage. If you have the Apple Watch LTE, you can get your iMessages regardless of what phone you are carrying!

Of course at that price... you could just be better off carrying both phones if you have the pocket space :)
 
iMessage deactivates your phone number after a certain period of time not being connected by the phone that has that number. For example, I have an iPhone and iPad. My iPad gets my iMessages. If i take my SIM out of my iPhone, eventually iMessage will not retain my phone number.
