'Get Mail' button in Mail.app and Gmail

Hi everyone,

I have Gmail set up so that it imports mail from two of my other accounts using the fetch service. I then have that Gmail account set up in Mail.app.

Because I don't receive emails directly to the Gmail account, the 'Get mail' button at the top of Mail.app is useless to me. Is there a way to get that button to tell Gmail to fetch mail from my imported accounts?
