I currently have a 15" MBP 2010 with the following specs:
2,4 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 256 MB

I'm thinking about replacing it with a MBA 2010 with the following specs:
Core2Duo 2,13GHz
4GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 320M

I'm wondering about the following: How much worse is the GeForce 320M compared to the GT 330M? And will the overall performance of the MBA be much worse than the performance of my current MBP? Will it be much slower when running windows in vmware fusion for example?

Any help is appreciated!
Thanks

IMO you'll be missing the 8gb of RAM in your MBP. Once you're with the 4gb RAM Air, you can't upgrade. Don't think there will be much of a difference with graphics cards (depending on what you do with it). If you want to significantly improve the MBP, drop an SSD in it. That will make a huge difference.

Personally, I would go with the MBP.

My wife has the 2010 MBP, I carry the 2010 MBA. I put an SSD in her MBP for her, helps a lot. Display is nice and crisp, but 1280 is brutal.
My MBA is all about portability. And for folks that will tell you the pound or so doesn't make a difference, horse poo. I carry this MBA all day long for my IT job.
