If you have a job and a credit card it isn't hard to pay off quickly even if you don't make much. Discipline is the key.

This is one of the reasons for the current economic turmoil. High debt/capital ratio.

Don't buy it on credit. Bad habit to get into. Wait till you've got the cash for it. You'll enjoy it more.

Sell stuff on ebay. I am a part time ebay seller and thats where I earn money on the side. Plus listings are only .35 cents for buy it now right now.

And then there is craigslist. Its just a hassle when people flake. So thats why I don't use it that much.

You could always recycle cans. I think homeless people make bank!!HA! I just saw a news segment where a homless guy made $100 on cans and glass bottles.

Collect coins and go to coinstar to get amazon giftcards. That will add up to a Mac.

It's fall. Get off your computer and get raking. You can charge good money for manual labor these days.

Get a job? (If you're old enough).

Easily from a part time job, make $350 paychecks here and there, and they add up.

lemonade stand?

agreed. DO NOT BUY WITH CREDIT CARDS. I am in debt now and have a hard time paying them off. Sell stuff on craigslist like ur current laptop, old cellphones, games, systems...it all adds up. Also try eBay, you are most likely to get more money off of them instead of craigslist. The majority of the time people offer me half of what I am asking for.
