Get my Preview Pane BACK in iMail

Somehow, I accidentally removed the Preview Pane in iMail. How do I get it back? Thanks.

In Mail look at the very bottom of the Mail window....is there a thin grey line with a dot in the middle of it? You can double click that line (or click and drag) to get the Preview window back.

how come at work, someone has a macbook pro with leopard Os on it on on their mail app, you can have the preview pane on the RIGHT side of the screen?.. And when i played around with it, all i had to do is go to "View" and "preview Pan" and it gave me 2 options, bottom, right, off....

Does anyone know why? and i don't have those options on my computer.

preview pane grey top part???

I have a different problem but can't find a solution:

the address area of the preview pane
(the gray part of that pane that includes Frgrey top partom, To, Subject, and font size buttons)

does anybody know how to get rid of that grey part please?
