Disney has introduced a new promotion on its streaming service for Black Friday and Cyber Monday shoppers, offering a bundle of Disney+ (with ads) and Hulu (with ads) for $4.99 per month for 12 months, down from $12.99 per month. This offer represents a savings of 61 percent on the Disney+/Hulu bundle, and after twelve months it will return to the then-current monthly price unless cancelled.

To get the deal, head to the promotion landing page on the Disney+ website and click on the Disney+/Hulu bundle option. This offer covers the ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu streaming plans, and it's valid only for new and eligible returning subscribers.

Disney says that this offer will run through this Monday, December 1, so there's only a few days left to take advantage of the deal. You can find all the Apple Black Friday Deals still available in our dedicated post.

Article Link: Get One Year of Disney+ and Hulu for $4.99/Month

I think I did an analysis of all streaming services I subscribed to at one point since their inceptions, and all but two of them increased in price by 100%+ per month. I cancelled almost all of them, wild how they include ads with them when you pay and offer a more premium sub without ads. I just buy physicals of what I like now and get the digitals they often come with.

An even better deal is the ad-free version of both for $14.99/mo. Especially if you also have an American Express card that has a Disney streaming credit.
I like that deal but I'm a current Hulu-only customer. Not eligible for this or I'd jump on it. Would be a price drop in my case.

Strict budget, so might give this a try. Read a recent article about ads on Hulu, but won't know if I can tolerate how Hulu/Disney treats ads until I see for myself.

Had planned to pay for one month of ad-free this winter to devour my "must watch" list, but three months for the same money would be much more relaxed with time for some old shows.

I could not tolerate the ad tier on Amazon Prime, but found the number and length of ads on Netflix to be fine when I had a T-Mobile plan that included the ad tier, especially since certain shows I watched had no ads.

Before long it’ll be the same price as cable, and then we’re back to where we started.

It was 99¢ per month a year ago with Hulu.

Have officially cancelled all streaming apps, minus the free ones such as Tubi and PlutoTV and they're good enough.

Thank god I have hundreds of DVDs.

Also, piracy online wins. It always wins.

I don't like pirating anything, because I'd rather show the studios that what they are offering isn't worth the cost. I don't have to consume your content, and can easily do without.

We just have Disney/Hulu, no ads. It's $10/month after a monthly AMEX rebate. We like the free offerings, too.

I always told myself one subscription at a time. I have Amazon, Paramount, Angel, and just picked up Disney plus (again) on this offer. It's month to month, so I'm thinking we'll catch up on a few things and it will go away again.

The ads really got me, though. Watched Thunderbolts tonight. So. Many. Ads. And the same ones over and over. The only advantage over network television is it wasn't edited for content or time! For this, $5/month would be about my limit.

Clicked the MR link, signed up, and am rewatching season one of Andor to prepare for season two and to see if I can develop a "workflow" for the ad breaks, since I live alone and tend to pause for snacks and bathroom breaks anyway.

I think I can make it work, especially since the three breaks are roughly the same 1:45 length for this series.
