Get Photos off Iphone

Hi, I recently restored my mac and thought that i had backed up my photo library. Unfortunatly after I copied the Iphoto Libary to my newly restored machine it does not see any data. Luckily I have all of my photos on my Iphone because I had my Iphone synced to my Iphoto library. now I just nedd a way to get them off my Iphone. Please help.

iPhoto should detect you iphone as a camera, allowing you to get the photo's from it.
