Get rid of DropBox?

I use Dropbox for one reason and that is to free up mem from my phone. I upload all the pics to Dropbox and delete the ones on my phone. I hear Icloud does this now? If so where can i find some instructions?

You're thinking of iCloud Photo Library. That feature was pulled from iOS 8.0, and is supposed to be available in an update in October.

if i am not mistaken it will still store local copies of all your pictures, they will simply be of lower size
