Get rid of full screen menu animation?

anybody figure out if it's possible to make the menu bar appear instantly, sans delayed animation? One can do this with the dock which I find great, but not with menubar in full screen mode. Apple needs to fix this bug.

Uh, I would think this is not necessarily a bug. But talking about how to make it appear instantly, I have no idea.
