Get rid of sports scores in Apple TV

I have had an on going issue with Apple TV and it occurs on all my devices (iPhone 11, iPad mini 5, Apple TV 4K and Apple TV 4th Gen). When going to the Watch Now screen all the devices constantly show Sports scores even for teams that I don't have listed as Favorites. I delete them from Up Next whenever I see them. I go into settings and turn ON and then OFF for Sports scores on all the devices that have that in settings.
Any ideas?

that setting only hides the scores, not the games. To avoid spoilers if you don't want them.

That being said, I'm not sure how to make it go away, but am looking for an answer also.

Ah - did not realize that. What's even more annoying is it shows games from teams that I did not say I follow (unless it is confusing the SF Giants baseball team with the NY Giants Football one! Thanks
