Hi all,
I want to get a series of images from a camera connected to a FireWire port. The camera is part of a research microscope, and the software that came with it only allows to capture an image manually. However, the software can provide a near-live image, meaning that the setup is capable of transferring images rapidly.
I am looking for a way to get those images rapidly, i.e. as soon as the camera can take the next exposure (I can access it via the TWAIN driver). This could be as a series of images, or as a movie.
Is there any way to do this painlessly? I would appreciate any hints!
