Ok, so I am running a iPhone 4 jailbroken with Greenpoison on a 2011 MBP 15".

I want to take the music off my phone to add to my new MBP.

I've tried Senuti, expod, and syncpod.

Sentui does not detect my iPhone even after installing the iPhone extensions, expos just locks up and I have to force quit, syncope does not detect the iPhone.

Anyone have any other options. Preferably free?

Thanks.

No backup for your music?

If your music has been purchased from iTunes, use the "transfer purchases" option in iTunes.

My music is a mix of purchased on itunes, purchased elsewhere (like Amazon), and ripped from CD.

My total library is on the hard drive of my Windows laptop.

I just want the music that's on my iPhone on my new Mac. When I try to sync iTunes it wants to replace what's in the iTunes Library on the iPhone (1000+ songs) with what's on the Mac (which is only 2 songs).

Yup, unless I'm mistaken, thats what sync (synchronize) means.
Use an external, or thumb drive, and copy it from the PC.

Joboshare iPhone rip

That's the software I use, it's $20 and also easily exports SMS and phone logs, too. Best luck!!
