I have bootcamp on a couple of new MBPs and the poor performance of the trackpad is driving me nuts. There seems to be much worse "accidental thumb" detection, and the motion is not nearly as smooth. I am pretty much forced to keep my thumb at the bottom 1/2" of the trackpad, which is annoying since it is such a nice big piece of glass.
Can anyone suggest any 3rd party utilities or drivers that give me the behavior I have been spoiled with in OSX?
Oh this is a good time to express disbelief that Dell is still putting out computers with trackpads 1/4 the size of Apple's and people seem to be fine with that. I watched a guy pick up his finger 5 times to get his mouse across the screen the other day.
