I don't want to lose my jailbreak, but as a paid developer I like to see iOS 8 first hand. I know it isn't recommended but is there anyway to force the install on an iPhone 4? It was previously jailbroken as well. Just curious. I don't care about speed or functionality.

There's no software version of iOS 8 for the iPhone 4 since it's not supported anymore, so the answer of your question will be no.

Short answer = No
Long Answer = No because a version of iOS 8 has not been created for the iPhone 4, the A4 chip cannot handle it.

Kind regards,
Ashley

Nope.. sorry. iPhone 4 will NEVER see iOS 8.

simple solution. jailbreak it on 7.1.2. then install a bunch of tweaks to make it just like ios 8. no difference really...

just install quickreply, a notification center tweak, and a control center theme.
