In fact, Russ Landou, composer for CBSs Survivor, used this application to make some music cues for the upcoming FOX TV Show, Seducing Cindy It is amazing how an iPhone app can be used to create music for TV shows!
Another aspect I like about the application is that you are able to work with your track being created and make changes in real time. No stopping the music and adding in effects; Just make the changes and they will take effect on the spot! If you no how to drag and drop, you know how to work with GrooveMaker. It is that simple.
So what are these tracks? You have GrooveMaker Free edition, Club, House, Hip-Hop, Techno, Trance, Pop, DNB, and Electro. All 11 style packs are available today on iTunes, with the others on the way. The price varies, but you are looking at no more than $9.99 which is a pretty great deal. There are a few in the app store that cost much more with less features and functionality.
Overall, the application is wonderful. I would imagine anyone that does not have a clue how to make tracks will easily know how to do it with this application. It is super simple and there are directions to help if needed. Since using this app, I have created many tracks. Some good, and some bad, but given the fact this app is so addicting, Ill probably have a few CDs out by next month!
