Follow the instructions on post number 24 on the thread link below, oh and you gotta downgrade iTunes to 7.4(link on post number 4), but the link to the file is on this thread!!!! I am sooo happy I got my tones back I just had to shout this from the mountain top!

there are multiple threads on this and they all say the same thing.
RINGTONES ARE ALIVE AND WELL!!!!!!!!
 
I'm waiting for an updated iToner for two reasons:

1. Ambrosia (Moki/Andrew) has indicated that they have a handle on what's going on and may have a beta soon.

2. I plan to upgrade to Leopard. I fully expect that the latest version of iTunes will be bundled into the OS update. What then? Downgrade again? It's not worth it to me just to have custom ringtones (though I think Apple's position on custom ringtones is total BS).

Just my 2 cents...
